The luxury of lazing around

Okay, okay. Someone has been complaining that I haven't blogged for ages. So I'm blogging. Happy now? :P

Thing is, ever since stopping work, my routine has shot all to hell. I hate mornings, and if I don't have a reason to wake up in the morning (read: TO GO TO OFFICE), then I tend to skip mornings altogether. Afternoons are so much more welcoming and pleasant. They beat mornings hands-down any time.

And have you noticed that it's been raining incessantly lately? I wake up, it's raining, I'm hungry, it's raining, I could drive out, but it's raining... and there's no food in the house. I hardly ever keep food around because I'm out more often than I'm in, and I always forget to eat the food, so it ends up expiring. Heck, even my Maggi Mee (instant noodles) has expired!

As a result... on Tuesday I ended up calling McDonald's delivery service for lunch. This, despite the fact that there is a McDonald's outlet 10 minutes' drive from my house. Decadent, no?

So yesterday I went to the supermarket and bought ham, bread, lettuce, and low-fat milk. And some biscuits. I was good and didn't buy any junk food. No sir. No chips. No soft drinks. No chocolate. Even the biscuits I bought had no chocolate; they were vegetable crackers. (Don't worry, they don't taste as bad as they sound. Trust me. Would I buy anything that tastes bad??)

Which means today I was able to make ham sandwiches. Which is really all I have to report for today. Other than the fact that trying to dream up names for Second Life is A LOT OF WORK.
