Off to camp! Ta!
Wasn't that smart of me -- I signed up for church camp and forgot all about it. I even PAID the camp fees, and still forgot all about it. (You'd think I'd jolly well remember since I had plonked down my hard-earned money... but nooooo.) Of course, it didn't help that I haven't been to church for yonks and so haven't had the opportunity to hear the weekly announcements and reminders. As you can see, everything conspired against me...
So I thought I was free this weekend. It's a 3-day weekend coz tomorrow (Friday) is Independence Day. Yay! I made plans to meet a friend for lunch.
Then Minishorts called me. "You're in my car ah!"
"Huh?"
"For church camp! You're car-pooling with my boyfriend and me!"
"Ohhhh..."
"We're going to set out at 9:30am, okay?"
There you have it. Luckily I hadn't planned to drive myself there, or I'd totally have missed it in blurry bliss. See you on Monday, folks. Be good ;)
