No need diamond lah, I not that demanding.
I was kidding around with twwt2001, hinting to him that my birthday is sometime this month, when he asked me to put up a wish list.
So I asked YP: "Do you think it would be too muka tembok (thick-skinned) to post a birthday wishlist on my blog? Like asking for presents only..."
"It's your blog, so it's your choice," she replied. "I find it difficult to think of gifts for people, so if all my friends are like you, life would be SO MUCH EASIER!!!"
"So if I post you will buy for me ya??"
"UUUUHhhhHHhhhhh... you post lah. If there is something I can afford, why not?"
"Sure ah!"
"You go post... then I go see if there's anything I can afford lor..."
So, to ensure I get something from YP...
- Book: The Art of Punctuation by Noah Lukeman (there are a few books on my private wishlist, but this one I really really want
-- I saw it in Popular Bookstore, Ikano Power Centre) - Flowers: Roses are my favourite. No need big bouquet. Maybe a small arrangement I can put on my desk to look at and make me feel happy :) Incidentally, I'm not partial to gerberas, which seem to be quite a popular flower in flower arrangements over here. (Rather ironic, as gerberas are from the sunflower family...)
- Car: Somebody to take my car to a car wash or go with me to send it for washing. My car is waaaaaay overdue for a wash but I always seem to have things to do and places to go, or else I'm chillin' at home and not doing anything or going anywhere. I really need someone to say, "I am going to take you, and your car, to the wash. NOW!" (Yes this is in the category of saving me from myself)
- Vouchers: For massages. I seem to be tensing up in the neck & shoulders area a lot lately. This year I've already gone for massages a few times (unfortunately, one didn't turn out too well). [Btw please don't give me vouchers for facials as I don't dig facials. Only massages. See? I'm easy to please!
] - Music: My car player died some months ago and I've been music-less since then. I haven't had the budget for this coz too many other things have been happening and other expenses cropping up. So will be very very VERY thankful to the person(s) who help bring music back to my daily drives!
- Liquor: A bottle of Baileys. Baileys Irish Cream is the only alcoholic beverage that I actually like. Very nice in small increments, on the rocks.
- Food: Somebody to take me to dinner in the revolving restaurant on top of the KL Tower. I've never been up the KL Tower; it would be an experience.
- Chocolate (which could never be in the same category as mere food, oh no): Ever since Nicholas posted these drool-inducing pictures, I've wanted to go to the KL Hilton's chocolate buffet. If you bring me there, I'll love you forever. *muaks*
By the way, in case you're wondering, I've deliberately left out the date of my birthday -- if you're interested enough to want to give me something, you'll be able to find out the date fairly easily. Here's another hint: Lynnee and I share the same birthday! We're planning to treat ourselves to Japanese food at Shogun (1Utama Shopping Centre) that day. Anybody wanna come along?
