Adeline (my former housemate) and Nyx saved my life.
Nyx actually offered to PAY for me to get a professional make-up artist do my face, which stunned me so much, I burst out laughing. "What? Aiyo, no need lah! Come on! I'd rather have the money than the make-up!"
"The money is FOR the make-up, okay!"
"Why are you offering me money anyway?"
"Because it's your BEST FRIEND's wedding!"
"Aiyo, no need lah... you do for me can already lah..."
"ME? I'm just going to lend you the make-up, I'm not going to help you put it on!"
Eheheheh. But she did. And I didn't even have to bribe her.
She and Adeline came over to my house to work their magic. We had make-up aplenty, since I also got permission to plunder my housemate Karen's cosmetic bag. But there was the touchy issue of eyebrows... which I refused to let them tweeze. Heh.
"I feel so girly," I commented with my eyes closed, as Nyx smoothed on eyeshadow, closely observed by Adeline.
"You are a girl, in case you hadn't noticed!"
