Taking stock

It's already June... almost half the year gone. It's been quite an eventful five months, lots of things taking place both within and without.

I think I'm losing the need (or drive, or whatever) to write about my life on this blog. There've been so many things I didn't write about. Maybe I'm learning to process things internally without writing them out for all the world to see. That's probably a mark of maturity... I'm finally learning to be discreet, it seems. Who knew this day would ever come?

Work's been pretty challenging, in ways I never expected it to be. I started as a temporary staff in November, was made permanent in January and promoted in April. Yeah, it was one of those things I didn't write about.

And studies... well, the first semester has come and gone. I just got my provisional results and am pretty impressed with myself because, well, I graduated with my law degree seven years ago, and I wasn't sure I'd even remember how to study, let alone how to answer exam questions!

Apart from that, my brother got married, and I gained a new sister-in-law. My grandma was in and out of hospital. And a lot of other things have been happening too, behind the scenes in my life, and emotionally, and stuff. Well.

So, half the year. It's shaping up to be an interesting one. God is still surprising me continually.
