All that, and the kitchen sink
I'm well-known among my friends for carrying "ridiculously small" handbags. Even then, I have quite a few items inside:
- My purse, which has my identity card, driver's licence, ATM card, and money
- A packet of pocket tissues
- Small notebook
- Pen
- Lip balm
- Two mobile phones
- Car keys, house keys and office keys
- Hair clip
Other women I know also carry:
- Digital camera
- Face powder
- Lipstick and lip gloss
- Small mirror (for applying lipstick)
- Hairbrush / comb
- Facial blotters (to blot oil / sweat from skin)
- PDA / organiser
- Thumb drive
- Plaster (band-aid)
- Hands-free kit for mobile phone (or bluetooth headset)
- iPod / MP3 player
- Small Bible
- Cigarette lighter & pack of cigarettes
- Vial of perfume
- Lozenges / breath mints
- Panadol / aspirin
- Spare tampon / sanitary pad / pantiliners
- Company security name tag
- Coin purse (just for coins)
- Safety pins
- Nail clipper
- Tweezers
So I don't get it. How do men manage without handbags?
