Food for the financially-challenged

"Name something good God has done for you this week," Jason suddenly said while we were chatting on Yahoo Messenger tonight.

"He's been giving me meals through people," I replied.

Yeah, people have been offering to pay for my food over the past few days. It started with Bob, who bought me dinner on Monday. Okay, admittedly I twisted his arm coz he wanted a ride home from his office and I said, "I will come and pick you up if you'll buy me dinner, coz I'm very broke." Hahahah. So he did and I did. But all the other incidences were genuine, I swear ;)

Yesterday I was out with friends and one of them bought me supper. Today I lunched with Bob, Sivin (my pastor) and another friend, and Sivin paid for our lunch. Then I met Hidden for dinner and she insisted on picking up the tab.

I have yet to receive my last paycheque due to difficulties in getting hold of the two signatories to sign it. So it's been interesting to see God provide for me this way.

"You should write this down," Jason said. "Label it under 'Times God Has Shown Himself Faithful'," he winked. I did the next best thing -- I blogged it! *grin*

Sherman again: "Can you see the positive things happening or not? See what I mean when I say God hasn't left you without help??"

"Yes, yes... see see see see see!"
