Close call
There was an attempted break-in at our house this morning at around 7am. My housemate Adeline was downstairs preparing to leave for work when she saw movement behind the curtains covering our sliding glass door... then she saw a figure pushing the curtains aside.
She yelled at the guy and he ran off, jumping over the fence to get away. Later when we inspected the outside grille, we discovered that he had sawn through it at the padlock area:
If you remember, the house next to ours was burgled Monday night. We're a bit jittery now. Thank God that we are all safe.
