This explains a lot

My inner child is ten years old!
The adult world is pretty irrelevant to me.
Whether I'm off on my bicycle (or pony) exploring,
lost in a good book, or giggling with my best friend,
I live in a world apart, one full of adventure and wonder
and other stuff adults don't understand.

When I was younger, Dad used to say I lived in a world of my own. Always daydreaming and devouring fairy tales, I wove stories of my own inside my head, sharing them with no one.
Now I don't have stories anymore because my life IS the story. I know one person who reads this blog because it's "like Bridget Jones's Diary". I'm not sure whether that's a compliment especially when he observes, "I say funny things, but funny things happen to you." Gee, thanks! :P LOL
But seriously, I always thought adults were those old, boring people with no sense of humour. It's why I never thought of myself as an adult. Me? One of those joyless stick-in-the-muds? No way, man!
Long live my inner child!!!
