Template woes
Good grief... Late last night I switched the template and CSS to those that Jonathan has been designing for me, and everything suddenly went haywire. That's one of those times when I really wished he and I didn't live in opposite time zones!
The funny thing was, he'd done a mock-up and that had been fine. I've no idea why my blog reacted that way. I left things as they were because I didn't have the energy to deal with it (t'was already 11pm then).
Today, I switched everything back, tweaked a few minor things such as fonts and font sizes, and then... discovered that the blog was still misbehaving. The archives got completely messed up, and I was ready to murder someone.
I think I've finally gotten things back to normal. *phew* I've gone to using absolute sizes (pixels) for all fonts, just to ensure that they will always display the way they're supposed to. Still trying to figure out the colour scheme...
