Updates
Thanks all for praying. My grandma is out of the critical stage and is recovering. The plans for her birthday celebration have to be cancelled, though. :(
I'll be going home Thursday as scheduled, and should be able to see her.
I was just thinking what a miracle it was that Mom & Dad were around at the time. My grandma lives alone, and, as I said, in a city one-and-a-half hours' drive from my hometown. She's steadfastly refused to stay with any of her children, because she's comfortable where she is; she has friends, and can easily walk down the street to the market or pop next door to enjoy a game of mahjong with the neighbours.
It's all just scary.
Today has been a busy day and I'm off for Hebrew class. I have to say, if the teacher weirds me out any more I shan't continue. Janelle persuaded me not to decide on the basis of a single lesson, which explains why I'm still going. (Note to self: You really MUST learn how to say no!)
