The Father's response
From the friend who reads my blog regularly, in response to my post yesterday:
The Father looked down on His forlorn child. He saw what she was going through and understood. He knew the darkest nights belong to the loneliest souls. He knew what it was like to be left alone... in the midst of a crowd, displayed for all to see; He had never felt so lost and lonely before... so Forsaken.
He knows His children were created for fellowship. They were never meant to be alone and so, Companionship was created for them (though He sometimes wonders why they see it the other way).
But He offers this: Find your companionship in Me. I am as close as a heartbeat, a song on your lips. Find yourself completely 'complete' in Me, and you will find your heart's desire. If I do not have you first, how can I trust someone else not to take your heart away from Me?
Dearest Child, know this well: I see you as the precious jewel that you are. You know full well that My works are fearfully and wonderfully made. I know what you want, and I also know what you need. Trust me on how to best bring the two together.
This will be easier said than done, I know. But you are surrounded by those who care for you. Let them care for you, then. You may think that they have little to offer you - but bread and fish have been put to better use.
And remember always: Of all the 'un-'s there are, You have never been unloved.
Thank you, friend. Your words have meant more to me than you know.
