Weekend capers

It's been an eventful weekend. Bob (whom I've been pestering to enter the blogging world) has been helping me to redesign my current personal website. It looks great, and he has drily reminded me that he normally charges 120 bucks per hour for this, so I suppose I'm eternally grateful to him. *giggle*

In fact, we sat up all of Friday and Saturday night working on it. He let me have the final say on things but of course, he turned out to be right most of the time - especially where aesthetics were concerned. So he's crowing, "You know, I do this to earn money, so I think I should know what works and what doesn't work!" Yeesh... how embarrassing!

I'm going to incorporate the blog on the site and have it as my homepage. But I don't want to move till I've finished the other pages on the site and moved everything over, so I'll continue here until the other place is ready. :) Will keep you guys posted!

In between mulling over the "new look" of my website, I went out to collect a few cardboard boxes. Well, actually, I only wanted three, but the guy at the shop was so kind, he said I'd better take more, so I have seven... and I think I will probably be able to find uses for all of them! I went back and started packing in preparation of moving, um, room. Granted it's not quite a huge process as moving house, but I have a LOT of stuff... arrgh! Of course, as I made the rounds of shops trying to find cast-off boxes, I got side-tracked and ended up buying 6 more books... *rolls eyes*

Also, I finally got myself the Holy Spirit Adventure Bible (NLT), which I've been meaning to get for almost two years! I don't yet have a Bible in the NLT translation, and I've wanted to get the Holy Spirit Adventure Bible ever since I attended one of Dr Larry Keefauver's seminars. He did a brief three-day course with us on the main Hebrew and Greek terms used in the Bible, and recommended the Holy Spirit Adventure Bible for anyone who wanted to gain a deeper knowledge and relationship with the Holy Spirit. I'm excited. Mom will probably say, "ANOTHER Bible?!" when she hears!
