Still on Christmas

My all-time favourite Christmas song:

THE STABLE OF OUR LIVES

In a place with the smell of musty hay
There was born the Son of God that day
He came in such a way
As to say, "I'm one of you,
So please don't be surprised by my bed of hay"

The Son of God born in a humble site
But His life transformed the room that night
So if He could turn that place
Into something filled with grace
Just think what He could do in the stable of our lives

Chorus:
Jesus came, came into the world that day
Jesus came, came in a simple way
And if He could turn that place
Into something filled with grace
Just think what He could do in the stable of our lives

Now today within each one of us
There's a place created for Jesus
And in that corner of our lives
Full of bitterness and strife
It's there He comes to say,
"I want to live My life"

In the pain, the struggles of the race
Heç—´ there to present us with His case:
"If I could turn that place
Into something filled with grace
Just think what I could do in the stable of your lives"

Chorus:
Jesus came, came into the world that day
Jesus came, came in a simple way
And if He could turn that place
Into something filled with grace
Just think what He could do in the stable of our lives.

Amen.
