Don't watch it!
I am soooooooooo sleepy! I know it痴 not interesting news, but I really am!
Janelle and I went swimming this morning. We have decided to swim three mornings a week, before I go to work. Went on Monday morning but discovered that the pool only opens at 9:30am. What?! It痴 a good thing newspaper offices work flexible (some say strange, heheh) hours. I usually try to get in before 10:30am coz I don稚 want to push it, though. :) And on Monday I came in at 2:30pm coz I went to the cinema in the morning. 泥on稚 you have to work?� a friend asked. Hey, it WAS work! I have to review movies for my paper痴 website!
On that note, please do NOT waste your money, your time and your brain cells watching Master of Disguise. It is the most stupidest silliest brainless-est (I知 running out of superlatives, *grin*) movie I have ever seen! The lead character (Dana Carvey) is called Pistachio (*rolls eyes*). When he meets his grandfather, whom he's never seen before, he repeats the old man's cryptic statement slowly: 溺y father is your son... You must be my sister!� he declares delightedly, embracing his grandfather with great enthusiasm. Then the grandfather quizzes him on the circumstances of his parents� kidnapping. 泥id you hear this?� he asks, and slaps Pistachio痴 face: Thwack! Thwack! Twack! 添es, exactly like that, but without the pain,� replies Pistachio, in amazement. When the grandfather leaves, he gives Pistachio a 釘all of Knowledge� which is supposed to help him in times of difficulty. So Pistachio uses it and this huge bubble appears with his grandfather痴 head in it. Pistahio is astounded. His grandfather says, 的知 a pre-recorded hologram! Now what do you want?� (*rolls eyes again*)
Meanwhile, the bad guy has kidnapped Pistachio痴 father and forces him to use his disguising skills to steal the world痴 greatest treasures, so that he can auction them off on the black market. He disguises himself as the runner Michael Johnson, wows the guards, and 澱orrows� the US constitution. Using the same modus operandi, he disguises himself as governor Jesse Ventura and singer Jessica Simpson, making off with the Liberty Bell and the Apollo 11 lunar module respectively. In the last case, the guards are easily bribed with an autographed copy of one of Simpson痴 CDs. Puh-leeze!
To anyone who has been following this blog regularly: I致e changed the font coz I feel that Verdana is easier to read than Times New Roman � especially if the fonts are small. If anyone is reading this, I would really really appreciate your comments. Please let me know if you disagree! You see, I believe that if I want people to read what I致e written, I have to make my page reader-friendly. I致e seen blogs that had maroon text on a red background, and I couldn稚 read a thing! Had to click and drag to highlight the text so that it turned white. THEN I could read it.
OK, blogging has helped me to stay awake... but I知 STILL sleepy. :P
