Thinking about my webpage
I just signed up for this and I'm wondering how it will all turn out. My eyes hurt from staring at the PC screen since 2pm. I've been trying to figure out HTML! Thank God for Meg and her link to htmlgoodies.com. Printed out loads of stuff to read later coz my eyes hurt.
I told myself I would start writing my webpage today, but then I discovered I left my diskettes at home. Sheesh! Growing forgetful in my old age! Still, I don't know enough to write my webpage yet. I'm fussy. I want it to look good, be user-friendly and interesting. For goodness' sake, I can't even decide what to write on the homepage... "Welcome to Sunflower's page" sounds horribly unimaginative. "Hi, I'm Sunflower" sounds banal. Boring, boring, boring! Too normal. Then again if it's too crazy, who's gonna view it?! *rolling my eyes*
And should I put my picture in? Do I want every Tom, Dick or Harry to see what I look like? (not that I've got anything to hide :p) But people visiting the page will probably be curious to see the face behind all the words, and it would be a good idea to give them a chance to find out, wouldn't it? Hmmm...
Stomach's growling. Haven't had dinner! Gotta go tend to the needs of my tummy... *grin*
